Ali Imsirovic triumphed in yet another high buy-in poker tournament on March 3 when he emerged victoriously from the partypoker MILLONS Online #21 High Roller Turbo event. This latest victory saw Imsirovic reel in a $92,516 prize.
MILLIONS Online #21: High Roller Turbo Final Table Results
Place | Player | Country | Prize |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Ali Imsirovic | Mexico | $97,516 |
2 | Wiktor Malinowski | Russia | $60,815 |
3 | Daniel Dvoress | Canada | $39,526 |
4 | Andras Nemeth | Hungary | $28,279 |
5 | Dario Sammartino | Austria | $21,327 |
6 | Christoph Vogelsang | United Kingdom | $16,823 |
7 | Ivan Zufic | Croatia | $14,073 |
The $2,100 buy-in High Roller Turbo was done and dusted in less than six hours, ensuring the 11 players who cashed in the event boosted their usual hourly rate.
Team partypoker was well represented among the 65 entrants but none of those sporting orange diamonds managed to make it into the top 11 finishing positions where the $325,000 prize pool was divvied up.
Patrick Leonard busted twice, as did Kristen Bicknell, while Isaac Haxton and Mikita Badziakouski both took one shot and missed.

Although those on the Team partypoker roster were disappointed not to cash, at least they did not finish in 12 place and burst the money bubble. Pascal Lefrancois had that dubious honor. The Canadian’s exit secured an $11,016 payout for the surviving players.
David Coleman and Sam Greenwood were the players who walked away with this prize after falling in 11th and 10th place respectively. Yuri Dzivielevski and Christopher Brewer were the next to bust; they both secured $12,301 payouts.
Brewer’s exit left only seven players on a single table, each of whom were now guaranteed $14,073 and being only six eliminations away from a near $100,000 score.
Ivan Zufic fell by the wayside in seventh before Christoph Vogelsang saw his tournament end abruptly in sixth, a finish good for $16,823. The came the exit of the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up Dario Sammartino. The Austria-based Italian claimed $21,327 in prize money.
The final four players still read like a who’s who of the poker world despite all those stellar names biting the dust. The waters became a little less shark-infested when Andras Nemeth bowed out, followed by Daniel Dvoress who finds himself second in chips at the final table of the MILLIONS Online Main Event.
Wiktor Malinowski and Imsirovic fought it out one-on-one for the title in a heads-up cash where the difference in prize money was more than $37,000. This did not deter either player and no deal was discussed. This meant Malinowski collected $60,815 when Imsirovic defeated him, leaving Imsirovic to scoop a $97,516 prize.
Astedt Among the Other Winners on March 2
Niklas Astedt is known for his No-Limit Hold’em prowess but it appears his Pot-Limit Omaha game is on point too. Astedt came out on top of an 89-strong crowd in the $2,100 MILLIONS Online #19 Omaha Knockout event to add a combined $54,817 to his already ridiculous lifetime winnings. The uber-talented Swede defeated Ami Barer heads-up to secure the title, which is no mean feat itself.
Kristoffer Jakobsson
won the $215 buy-in Mini Omaha Knockout and saw $8,131 make its way to his partypoker account. There was a $530 Mini High Roller Turbo event, also. It saw 111 players buy in and Luigi Shehadeh walk away with the lion’s share of the prize pool, namely $13,863.
