The Falcons needed a play, and they almost got it. But instead, it turned into an all-time Super Bowl catch. With the Patriots down 8 in their game-tying drive, Robert Alford got his hand on a Tom Brady pass and tipped the ball in the air. Both Ricardo Allen and Keanu Neal dove for the ball in hopes of making the game-saving interception. Yet, Edelman somehow beat all those defenders to the ball and kept it from hitting the turf. The rest was history.

It will be tough, if not impossible, to beat this catch. The Patriots were undefeated and cruising to the NFL’s first 19-0 season.
