Georgia

Georgia approved online lottery sales in 2012 becoming the 3rd state in the country to allow online lottery sales. Players must be 18 years old and a Georgia resident to purchase online lottery tickets. The GA lottery will ask for identification verification upon signup.

Minnesota

Minnesota launched online lottery sales in 2014 and banned online lottery sales in 2015. Minnesota was the first state to offer online sales, ATM sales, and lottery ticket sales at gas pumps.

Lawmakers were uncomfortable with the digital service and lobbied to pass a new law to end the non-traditional sales. The online service lasted for about year before the Minnesota State Legislature voted to end the online lottery service.

Who can play the Illinois Lottery?

Megaplier is an add-on to the Mega Millions game. For an additional $1, you can multiply your non-jackpot winnings by two, three, four, or five times. What is Power Play®?

Power Play® is an add-on to the Powerball game. For an additional $1, you can multiply your non-jackpot winnings by two, three, four, five, or ten times. For example, if you add Power Play to your game and you win the Match 5 prize without Powerball, your prize amount will double to $2,000,000. What is Extra Shot®?

Extra Shot® is an add-on to the Lotto game. For an additional $1 per game played, you may purchase a computer-generated Extra Shot number to increase your chances of winning non-jackpot Lotto prizes. If Extra Shot is added, it applies to all lines played on the ticket. The Extra Shot number is drawn separately from the Lotto numbers. If you match the Extra Shot number, you can multiply your non-jackpot winnings by 25 times.
